To start off , there was an announcement made at the concert that C-ute will be releasing a photobook in December. Since the announcement is short and not much has details have been released I thought I should just quickly mention it here. When more details are released we’ll update with a post.
First off they started with a medley which is real surprising to me. Most medleys at concerts are usually performed later and is sort of the highlight of most concerts. So I find it kind of strange that they’d start with a medley, though this concert was a highly anticipated one and it’s only fitting that they open with something as amazing as a medley.
I usually don’t pay too much attention to MC’s since I can’t understand them anyways but I find it really cute here that for the first 2 MC’s each group’s subject is each other and at the end with C-ute taking the lead on a Berryz Koubou song is also fun to see. The Ousama Game Corner is also pretty interesting since it looks like whoever is king gets to perform a solo, Amped did mention that this needs to be elaborated a bit more so I’m just speculating but from the order of the setlist that’s what it looks like to me. With the game corner it looks as though everyone will eventually get a solo at each concert if that’s the case, it’ll give everyone a chance to shine.
Berryz Koubou’s b-side to their joint single and Buono’s new single Deep Mind! is also on the setlist and since we haven’t gotten a clear preview of either song yet hopefully that will turn up too since I’m very excited for another rock song from Buono and C-ute’s b-side was amazing and I’m expecting Berryz Koubou’s one will also live up to that hype.
Looking at the whole setlist from beginning to end the concert ended kind of weak, I would’ve love so see another Berikyuu performance at the end and a story like their last concert would’ve been nice but until I see the concert for myself I won’t say that’s my full opinion.
Hopefully everyone who attended today enjoyed themselves and hopefully we can a concert rip and preview what it was like.
