I have to say for a first and final album before her hiatus Maki did exceptionally well. This album is packed with songs and extra content and I’m very impressed by it, even though I don’t follow her works. I want to start off with the covers which I think is a little bit plain. They used the Impact font for her name on all covers and I think there are other “default” fonts that could’ve been used but regardless of that the focus here is Goto Maki. She does stand out on the covers but I think her outfit is a bit too revealing and I personally don’t get the crown here. It looks like a toy and I don’t like it. The cover isn’t too impressing for a final album but I think she wanted to concentrate on the actual content itself.
The album features songs from her mini-albums and collaboration album which is a nice touch before she takes her hiatus since all her work is located in one place. The DVD features the PV for many of her songs and the 2nd DVD features some real interesting footage such as the backstage video.
I really like that for her final album she didn’t just release a “best of” album and instead she included some new things on her album. Hopefully everyone will support Goto Maki and reserve a copy of her album.
