A radio preview for Buono’s 13th single titled DEEP MIND has been released.This is my first time hearing the song so I’m really happy to see that they have come back to their rock roots since the song reminds me of their earlier releases but with a slightly darker tone, and with the guitar and drum filled instrumental it really makes the song stand out since it has a catchy beat.
As far as any standout points of the song there aren’t that many apart from the chorus since the song follows the same slightly dark sound, which fits the theme of the movie well since it’s a horror movie. Apart from having the perfect sound for a horror movie I am glad to hear that everyone gets to sing equally, although I wish there were a few more effects apart from a few drum effects here and there.
Overall it was a great preview since it’s a perfect release from Buono since it shows off their rock roots once again instead of the Jpop sound they have used lately, and while it might not have that catchy of a sound at first I am glad that it will be the theme of a horror film since it fits perfectly with that style.
There hasn’t been any details released about this single (release date or other details apart from the name) so I’m not really sure if they actually plan on releasing this as a Buono single, but we will probably find out soon enough. It will probably be released in some kind of way though (all songs from H!P are released eventually) so hopefully Buono fans are ready to reserve their copy when it is announced.
