The DVD and Bluray bonus tracklist for Hello! Project 2011 SUMMER ~Nippon no mirai wa YEAH YEAH Live & WOW WOW Live has been released.
I want to first mention that this post is quite long since it features 3 different tracklists and so I’m doing the post a little bit different than normal. I’ll be posting the tracklist then my comments instead of posting the entire tracklist then listing all my comments.

The best tracklist I’ve seen so far from H!P and it might be a little bias since a lot of the songs listed here are my favorites but H!P has really stepped up their game on these concerts recently so there’s really no complaints for me.
There are a total of 9 MCs and in the past I’d usually skip the MC’s since I don’t have a clue what they’re saying and I always thought of MC’s a useless fillers to allow the other performers time to change and get ready. However this year I’m sure the MC’s are filled with a lot of interest trivia from the members. It’s been awhile since they had this tour but this is the concert where fans were voting members for certain positions, like who they thought was cutest after Sayumi. I’m looking forward to seeing the MC’s this year even though I don’t quite understand what’s going on.

33. MC 8
34. All for One & One for All/All
I’m not too familiar with most of the songs on this tracklist but I think it’s just as good as the WOW WOW tracklist. This one features High-King’s last performance as well as Ogawa Saki’s last solo at the H!P concert so it’s special in it’s own way.
My favorite part of all concert DVD is watching the VTR so I’m really looking forward to seeing it on DVD and I’m a bit curious if there will be a difference between the VTR. The tracklist says there’s two different versions of Love Machine, which makes me hope that there’s also a difference in the VTR too. Regardless of what happens this is something I’m really looking forward to.

LALALA Shiawase no Uta /All
First off the Blu ray is a 2 disc set that features both concerts in HD. It’s about $25 more than buying the 2 DVDs individually but the blu ray does feature bounus footage which is worth buying.
The only downside is it doesn’t feature all the solo performances. Just from looking at all tracklist Gaki’s performance of the Party and Miyabi’s performance of SOME BOYS! TOUCH doesn’t appear. That’s a bit disappointing to me, I would’ve liked to swap out some of the group performances that appear for more solos since we can always see the group performances at the specific concerts. Also this might me a bit unfair for Mano but she is a soloist and she performed many songs on her own and it’s featured in the DVD so I would’ve switched some of her solo performances on the bonus tracklist for other member solos that didn’t appear. I was hoping that 9th gen’s solos would be on here so that I could see them individually but it looks as though I’ll have to wait until the next concert to have that appear.
Hopefully everyone will reserve a copy of the DVD since it was Ogawa Saki and Takahashi Ai’s last H!P concert and just because everything is great.
The release date is set for 11/16, and the blu ray will be released on 12/14.

Dream Morning Musume To Perform In Nippon Budokan

According to Nakazawa Yuko and Iida Kaori’s blogs, Dream Morning Musume will perform at Nippon Budokan next March.
From Yuko’s blog entry it’s somewhat easy to see that she and probably the rest of the group is very excited about performing in the Nippon Budokan since it has been quite some time since they have had a chance to perform there.
Recently at Ai-chan’s graduation the current generations had a chance to perform there so it’s nice to see that Dream Morning Musume will also have a chance to do so since many fans would love to see them sing many of Momusu’s best songs there by many of the members that helped shape Momusu into what it is today.
For now there isn’t that much info about the performance at the Nippon so it’s hard to say if it’s only one performance or if there will be two or more during that day, but hopefully we get details soon so everyone in the area can start to plan out their trips.
Hopefully this is a sign that there will be more Nippon Budokan performances in the future since it’s a perfect way for everyone to show off their talent in one of Japan’s best venues.
Dream Morning Musume will perform on 3/10/2012.

Berryz Koubou To Attend AnimeNEXT In New Jersey, USA

28

Just announced at their Berikyuu concert, Berryz Koubou will attend AnimeNEXT in Somerset, New Jersey, USA in June 2012.
Recently there was a tweet from a UFA Twitter account that mentioned there would be a surprise at today’s concert and I’m happy to see that it turned out to be another overseas trip since fans from this area will be able to enjoy Berryz Koubou without traveling that much.
This has been confirmed by the H!P site so it seems that once again Berryz will perform in the US for sure, which is great news following the recent announcement that Buono would also be performing overseas since fans in those areas will be able to enjoy H!P without having to go to Japan.
I’m surprised to see that they will perform in New Jersey since it doesn’t immediately jump into mind as being one of the most common tourist locations for people from other countries, but it’s a rare opportunity for fans near New Jersey, such as New York and the surrounding areas, since it’s among the first H!P concerts on the other side of the US.
For now there isn’t that much information about the actual event since it was just announced but once more details are released we will update with more details.
The event will take place from 6/8 ~ 10, 2012 at the Garden State Exhibit Center.

Buono! To Perform In Paris

According to an announcement by the official H!P site, Buono! will perform a live in Paris, France
They will perform at La Machine du Moulin Rouge.
Overseas performances usually come about once or twice a year for H!P groups, so it’s really surprising to see that a Paris live has been announced for Buono since it’s usually larger groups like Momusu or Berryz, but I’m a big Buono fan so I’m really happy to see that they can perform overseas since there are quite a lot of Buono fans in Europe.
As most of you might remember back in 2009 Buono was among the guests that were invited to perform in Sweden, but due to a few economic problems it was canceled and the group didn’t get to go, but this seems like a perfect way to make up for it since European fans will be able to enjoy their performances next year at a place other than an Anime Expo (it seems to be a live house).
Like always I highly encourage fans who are in the area or who can make it to attend since this is a rare opportunity to see Buono perform without having to go to Japan, and while there is still about 3 months to go for the performance it’s plenty of time for everyone to plan out their trip and practice their cheering and dancing for the songs.
Buono! will perform on 2/12/2012.

New H!P Eggs Announced

Left: Yamaga Kanae ; Right: Oda Sakura
2 new H!P Eggs have been announced at today’s Hello! Pro Eggs FC Event.
They both participated in S/mileage’s auditions and they are Yamaga Kanae and Oda Sakura.
The addition of some new Eggs was to be expected since usually after auditions, Tsunku chooses a few girls who didn’t pass the final judging to become H!P Eggs as he sees potential in them, and I’m really glad to see that 2 new girls from this audition have been added mainly because of their ages that range from 12 and above, which fills in the small gap in the Eggs that are mostly really young.
Even though I didn’t follow any of these girls during auditions, it was affirmed by many fans that Yamaga is a very good dancer, but also a better singer and that she hits high notes very well, and that Oda is a less better dancer (needs more practice) but has a good vocal range that assures her a good place within the Eggs, and I’m really pleased to see them being added since this means that they might proves themselves later on and affirm their personalities in order to debut some way or another, and I can’t wait to see them evolve within the Eggs and become better and better since from what we got to see during the S/mileage auditions, they are both already great.

Good luck to both girls for what’s to come and congratulations!

Hello! Project Mobekimasu – “Kacchoii Uta (Morning Musume version)” Radio Preview Released

The radio preview for Morning Musume’s version of the c/w Kachoii Uta of Hello! Project Mobekimasu’s new single has been released. Since we already got to enjoy the song being sung by both C-ute and S/mileage, we pretty much know how the song sounds generally with the cute voices of the S/mileage girls and with the fiercness of C-ute members, and we finally get to hear a short preview of what Morning Musume’s version sounds like since it’s definitely the most awaited by fans.
I have to say that I was impressed by the “cool” vibe the girls were able to give the song which sets it apart from the other 2 sounds of C-ute and S/mileage we got to hear, and the song is starting off with amazing vocals from Gaki and Mizuki (who both seems to have lead in this song), and I have to say that this makes me super excited for future releases since Gaki and Fuku-chan’s presence in songs have been more and more dominant, and apart from this, It seems that they added a few extra effects for this version since it’s Morning Musume’s, with some echoes after Sayu sings a line, and the overall repartition of the lines was really amazing since we got to hear each Kyuukie sing at least once and their voices really show how much they all improved (specially Kanon while singing “Rival dakedo”), and they all managed to fit the song perfectly.
Overall, I have to say that this version of the c/w is by far my favorite, and this proves once again why Morning Musume is the flag ship of H!P as a whole, so hopefully everyone who hasn’t ordered a copy yet will do so soon to enjoy an amazing release!
The release date is set for 11/16.
