From the start I was very excited for this release, mainly because it’s similar to All for One and One for All, and I like the concept that the entire H!P came together for one single. I was a bit worried though that the main vocals, for example Reina, Risako, Airi, would take over and lead the song leaving all the other members out. However at the same time I knew that they weren’t going to do a song where everyone had a line so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
The song is a complete contrast from All for One and One for All, it has a more serious feel to it and in All for One and One for All, they sang in groups based off when they joined the company. From the PV previews in Busu ni Naranai Tetsugaku they perform in random groups, which is a nice because we can see different interactions that we normally don’t get. We do get a few solo lines here and there, from what I can hear and remember, I think there’s a Risako, Reina and Airi solo in here. It’s hard to figure out whose singing since everyone’s voices are so strong and it’s hard to focus on just one voice.
The chorus is very addicting, just hearing the “No, no” and “Oh no” is nice enough for me, everyone’s voice just mash together so perfectly. So far from what we’ve seen this song is one of the best songs of the year, it shows off everyone’s singing and dancing and since it doesn’t feature Ai-chan I really feel like they’re showing the world that they can hold things down without her.
I really love this song and hope that everyone can support H!P by reserving a copy since there’s nothing to dislike about it. Hopefully we get the full PV soon!
The release date is set for 11/16.
