Site: With an exam, a presentation, and a ton of other school work this week I didn’t have much time for much else, as many of you probably noted by my lack of posting during the weekday, but thankfully that’s taken care of and I could finally work on the site.
As far as updates go I did manage to update the Upcoming Releases and it’s finally back up on the menu. I noticed that with the new theme the tables seem to have a bit of trouble displaying the spaces in between the objects, but I will fix that by tonight and update with a few goods I didn’t add (mainly Sayaka’s single).
I also updated the Profiles section for the first time in quite a while but I noticed that the entire section is out of date, so much so that I was very disappointed with myself since I neglected it. I planned on updating with the new icons in a few weeks, but I feel that it’s necessary to bump that to today, and that’s what I plan to do, but I’ll focus only on the Hello! Project section for now since doing everything in one go will be too much work for only one person.
I plan on updating all of the links, icons, and info, as well as adding profiles for the new S/mileage, Momusu, and Egg members, so there is quite a lot of work to do. For now that’s all I have in mind, but here’s a quick preview of one of the icons:
I should have everything ready soon, but as far as when it will be up is something I have to leave open since I usually say a date and end up getting too involved with other work, but it’s safe to say that the new icons should be up by tonight with the info being updated in the coming days.
As far as other updates there isn’t much else to say since my main concern for now is the Profiles section, but once I finish this I will work on the Discography section.
To everyone who has waited for updates on this section I wanted to quickly apologize for the lack of updates, but I will focus on the Profile section for sure and make sure it’s up and running as soon as possible.
Polls: The winner for this poll was Kudou Haruka with 464 votes (47%), congratulations Kudou! Iikubo Haruna came in second with 202 votes (21%), Ishida Ayumi came in third with 189 votes (19%), and Satou Masaki came in fourth with 125 votes (13%).
There was a total of 980 votes for this poll.
Congratulations Kudou!
Many might not have been aware but a similar fan poll was done during the auditions which compared the support each one of the girls had (you can check out the results of that poll HERE, but it’s all in Kanji so it’s a bit hard to understand if you don’t know the names), and for the most part I expected to see similar results (obviously not including Sara who tied for first), but it’s surprising to see that there were a few changes, here are the results for that poll for those who are curious:- Murakami Sara & Kudou Haruka – 563 Votes
- Ishida Ayumi – 500 votes
- Satou Masaki – 426 votes
- Oogami Hinako – 354
- Iikubo Haruna – 339
- Tanaka Fuuka – 127
- Other – 117
- Miwa Satsuki – 75
For the most part it seems that the results have changed quite a bit (although it also might be due to differences in taste as well as number of votes for the polls), but I expect to see them change even more once we get to see the new members show off their personalities. That along with the new single will probably be enough for most to make up their mind on their favorites, but there might be a similar case to Ikuta where it took a few more months until we saw her cute KY personality.
For now I’m glad to see that Haruka remains the top choice, but there is quite a bit of support for someone many didn’t expect to see (Masaki), so there is still room for change, although congratulations to Kudou on winning!
The next poll will feature Nakajima Saki, Wada Ayaka, and Tamura Meimi and while Meimi has an advantage it will be interesting to see what happens since Nakky has a large fanbase, although I hope we get to see Wada get 2nd place.
How will the polls end? That will be something everyone will have to wait and see until next week, so if you haven’t voted please vote for your favorite!
To make it easier for fans I will provide the direct link to the H!P poll HERE.
Please vote!
Shuukan Hello: Episode five of Hello! Pro Time is among my favorites since we get to see Mizuki and Kanon (my favorite 9th gen members) interact with Reina, and for the most part there is quite a lot of interesting scenes to see, from Mizuki’s cute food ordering to many other cute and funny scenes. Here’s a list of what’s in this episode:
- Fukumura Mizuki, Suzuki Kanon, and Tanaka Reina go to Karaoke and eat sweets at a buffet
- Okai Chisato at the shooting for their Momoiro Sparkling PV
