The PV for Takahashi Ai’s last solo release as a Morning Musume member titled Jishin Motte Yume Motte Tobidatsu Kara has been released. The PV will be released as part of the limited edition of Momusu’s 12th album titled 12, Smart.
For the most part the PV is simply one of the best I have seen for a solo song since it manages to show off the theme of the song in a perfect way, and since this is Ai-chan’s last release as a Momusu member it will most likely be among the most remembered as well.
The PV is made up of 3 main shots: Ai-chan singing in front of rows of pictures of herself from many different releases, Ai-chan in front of a recording studio, and Ai-chan singing in the recording studio. There is also another shot at the beginning where we get to see a stop-motion type shot of her posing next to a wall (most likely from the cover shoot of her single).
The main shot is that of Ai-chan singing in front of rows of pictures showing off her look throughout the years, and for the most part I couldn’t have imagined a better setting since the pictures show Ai-chan in every single release she has been in, and as you can tell it’s a pretty large amount. It’s somewhat of a nostalgic addition since it shows off her impressive career as a Momusu member, while it reminds us of how much she has grown and improved in the past years.
Along with the pictures we get to see Ai-chan sing into a traditional microphone, and that combined with her enthusiasm as she sings complete the shot in a perfect way. There are also some light effects during the shots that looked pretty cool, although they seemed to cover the pictures quite a bit.
The other two shots take place in a recording studio and they are perfect additions as well since they show off Ai-chan singing for a final time in the same way she has sung for the past 10 years, with headphones in a small recording room. For the most part there isn’t much variety in this shot since she just sings into the microphone but the end of the PV shows her looking at the microphone one last time, completing the PV in the best way possible.
Hopefully everyone can check it out, but I strongly encourage everyone to get a copy of the album so they can get the PV and support Ai-chan in her last release as a Momusu member. She has given us so much during the past 10 years so I believe that this is the best way possible to support her and show her that we truly appreciate her, so if possible please get a copy of the Limited edition or get the tracks of the album from iTunes.
The release date is set for 10/12.
